…today.

God bless them, every one.

And, please ~ watch this quiet, wonderful story from Steve Hartman of CBS. The second part will be on tonight’s broadcast.

If you’re not in tears by the end of this first part, well…oh, I KNOW you will be.

ths update: To answer Syd’s question in the comments: “no”. President Obama had other, more important stuff to do.

Indeed THS, you are quite correct. And I’m not that prone to tearing up. But I had to wait a bit to type this.

And that was from CBS? There’s hope yet…

  2. Syd B. says:

I must have missed it, but what did the POTUS and the First Lady do to acknowledge one of the most crucial historic events in American history?

  3. Gary from Jersey says:

Hard to believe CBS aired this as it mostly bashes people who would be inspired by these stories. A D-Day Ranger named Bud Lomell, a true hero in every sense, stopped talking to the MSM in part because of the distortions and preaching.

Syd: The O’s did nothing, but what do you expect from people who bragged about putting a Chairman Mao ornament on a WH Christmas tree?

  4. Greg Newsom says:

Kathy Kinsley,me too. this is a beautiful story. Why is the average citizen so nice and decent. But,our leaders so perverted and fake, with fake stories and smiles.Bastards!!
