Just So You All Are Aware of Where the Current Administration Stands

…as far as purchasing an airline ticket with intent to use, ergo “flying”, is concerned.

At the very start of this evening’s broadcast of World News Tonight, it was quickly explained that:

FLYING IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT

Got that?

So fuck off.

These pricks just don’t know when to shut up, don’t they?

And flying is neither a “privilege” nor a “right” — it’s a service that I may or may not use.

As in, “spend my money on”.

So fuck off, you brainless elitists.

See, goofy me and major dad were thinking just like you, jeff! like, I don’t need a “license” to buy a plane ticket, which is why driving is a PRIVILEGE. I can be any old age I want, just have to have the money for the fare and know where I’m going.

    Or so I thought.

THIS word also needs to get out among the people.

“FLYING IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT”

    And so is public service.

  4. Skyler says:

That’s what they say about driving, too. I never bought into that mind set either.

But I’m starting to think they are doing their best to magnify this issue to take our attention off the economy.

  5. tree hugging sister says:

Ah, but driving is a solitary activity and you have to pass a “test”, which they “control”, ergo “privilege”. Same for being the “PILOT” of said airplane. License = privilege.
But a TICKET to RIDE ANY PUBLIC CONVEYANCE = SERVICE PURCHASE = ANYBODY CAN BUY

Or in a kinder, gentler, less Socialist past ~ it used to.

  6. Gary from Jersey says:

This would be a good time for a pilots’ strike. Maybe that’d get the airlines off their duffs to stick up for their customers. For once.

Possibly; I certainly wouldn’t put it past Obama and his flying monkeys.

On the other hand, people are odd; they may be focusing on personal outrages in lieu of personal finances.

  8. Hm… this could end up crippling the airlines to the point where the gov’t would need to bail them out completely, and end up owning the majority of their stock….

    Just sayin’…
