“We Either Save This Country Or We Do Not”

My Senator brought tears to my eyes. Dear God, he did. (He also gets into it with Lurch.)

With just a piece of paper in front of him.

“You save the whole house, or it will all burn down!”

I coudn’t be more proud. And he couldn’t BE more right.

2016 may be too late. We may not have an intact country by then. Or a country capable of effectively defending itself after four more years of defense cuts like we are about to get.

Curses, THS. I’ve been trying to down load this for well over an hour and I’m only quarter of the way through. But I’ve seen a quarter of it and it’s too good not to finish. I’m going to be SO late for work.

  3. tree hugging sister says:

Oh, I wish I had a way to just bundle it up and send it to you, darlin’.

  4. Skyler says:

Okay, another hour and I finally finished it. He’s a very good speaker. He has quite a future ahead of him. I like how he took questions from Kerry and deflected his criticisms so easily and retained decorum at the same time.

It was well worth being late for work.

  5. JeffS says:

Lurch remains as stupid as ever. There’s no negotiating because he and his fellow Democrats are REFUSING to negotiate. They have no plan, so no negotiation. The man still uses talking points in lieu of a brain.

    Rubio smoked him, but good.

  6. Senator Rubio, if I were a citizen, would certainly get my vote!

  7. Yojimbo says:

Don’t let citizenship stop you, Mike, it doesn’t stop a whole bunch of people here. Just contact Bingley’s “Early and Often” office and I’m sure he can fix you up. 2012 may be your last best chance.

  8. Mr. Bingley says:

My goodness, he’s pretty dang awesome.
