Yes, one of the great thinkers has gone. The last person, I believe, that I could actually call an “intellectual” without snickering. (The word actually did have a positive meaning once. I think he was/will be the last to invoke that meaning.)
He was so interesting and
charismatic.I always watched his interviews and appearances on TV.His writing was too rambling and ‘inside baseball’to really be an easy read,though.He was wrong about 90% of the time,but I really liked the guy

Since he didn’t believe in anything except,disputation..
I kept seeing articles with his byline and thinking, “Way to GO, old man! Hang in there long enough and we’ll get a fix to have you ’round forever!”
