Jim Cantore’s Broadcasting From Pensacola Beach

…so I feel a little better, since he has an abysmal record as far as being in the middle of anything. We’re mainly sweating the rain considering as how we’re a wee bit past our fair allotment already and what’s looming on the radar looks substantial…and S.L.O.W.

But Mike Seidel’s not in town, so we might just squeak by. major dad and I are gonna try to scoot down to the beach in a bit and get some shots while there’s a beach left. The surf looks spectacular and, at the rate Tropical Storm Debby’s crawling nowhere, the coast is going to take a pounding.

ths update: DAMMIT. Oh, NOW we’ve made the cone with the damn thing as a hurricane on Wednesday.

Well, shit.

I TOLD him breaking into the snausages for a stupid rain storm was bad ju-ju, but OH, NO. He does it anyway.

Good Lord, ANOTHER storm? Well, stay dry, and don’t eat all those Vienna sausages at once.

Hey, don’t be trying to steal our heat relief. We’re looking at 100+ this week & that storm’s supposed to be what gets us South of the century mark.

Depending on how much the jet pushes down the east coast, it’s pretty tossed. The models are completely useless right now. Guiding light seems to be that the Azores High is declining in influence over the east coast, which could allow the system to shoot up between the stagnant high over central CONUS and the Bermuda Azores High. Either way you’re in for alot of rain. Seems like a Dennis situation right now though.

Come on up, it’s dry here

Wunderground is still in a BIG arguement. E? W? N? (maybe with outliers even S). Nhc.noaa.gov presently has their cone as a circle. NOBODY knows. Let’s just hope that the old “classic” movie ‘Debbie does Dallas’ also applies to Debby… (note to web searchers – NSFW).

It’s COLD up there. remember? I just LEFT.

And WU is nothing, but “you’re an asshole”, “no, YOU’RE an asshole” when these things get going, Kathy. I am SO grateful to have our very own, very ACCURATE weatherman in the family now. We just wait for Ebola to weigh in. If he says things are clueless at the moment, there you have it and we wait until he sees something happening.

    It’s frickin’ great!

It’s in theb high 80’s now that you left
