The 30% Solution

Romney gave 30% of his income to charity.

Mind you, that still left him multiple millions but none-the-less he gave 30 friggin’ percent to charity.

The cold, heartless, uncaring bastard.

I’d like to know what Chris Matthews gave.

Or any other of the millionaires at MSNBC.

Or Matt Lauer.

Or Soledad O’Brien.

Or any of the Hollywood types who make as much (and in many cases a hell of a lot more) as Romney.

Or John Kerry or George Soros.

Or Barack Obama.

Or Joe Biden: $339 in charitable donations, according to his tax filings. Way to go, Joe. He passes himself off as a regular guy who struggles to get by just like anyone else. Here’s where he calls home: http://www.celebrityhousepictures.com/joe-biden.php

    Have fun with this site.

But, but, but, Romney gave a lot of it to his church.

    So it doesn’t count.

Because they’re a cult or something.

Because the Southern Baptists said so.

    And they must be right.

Even though we don’t believe a word of what they say.

Because they’re a bunch of racist, no-neck, bible-thumping, toothless hillbillies.

    ‘Cause we say so.

    Your ever-so-objective-and-totally-unbiased-really-we-pinky-swear MSM

But the government knows better than you do how to spend that money! The government will make sure it goes to the right people! The government will relieve you of your personal obligation to be charitable in a way that reflects your principles!
