40 Years Ago Today

Apollo XVII was headed home from the moon as the final lunar mission the United States would ever launch neared it’s successful, poignant end.

Who ever thought they’d live to see a man on the moon?

NOW there are no Americans atop rocket boosters on our soil going anywhere fast and far away for ANY reason, PERIOD.

I never thought we’d live to see that day.
