That’s -6 proof, for you youngsters. They already dilute it down from “cask strength”, just adding a tad more water.
I guess they had their M.B.A. types analyze the comparative effects on sales of reducing the proof or raising the price. I, for one, would have paid more, but I won’t buy the diluted stuff. Go Bulleit!
