    Yikes! I’ll be praying for y’all. By the way, this week’s “I Survived” on Biography had interviews with 3 survivors of “Sandy”. It’s astonishing any of them survived.

    I didn’t see it, Julie, but I know several folks whose houses were washed away by the surge. There have of course been far far worse storms in the US but for us here this was shocking.

    And really this Andrea, brazen hussy that she may be, will just be a ‘nuisance’ storm in spite of the Weather Channel’s ceaseless hyperventilating.

    Yes, the Weather Channel already had a guy standing out in the rain this AM.

    Not just the weather channel. Anyone up and down the east (or southwest coast in FL) is in hyperventilation mode.

    OMG! Some idiots went out in an easily swamped sailboat in high winds this afternoon – and they got swamped 20 feet from shore and SURVIVED.
    (Repeated endlessly.) Sigh.

    Happy they survived – teens, ya gotta love them – they think they’re immortal. BUT. Enough, ok?
