You Know Who Else Rates a BIG “Bite Me”?

Yea I took $ n college so wat. I did wat i had to do. Agents was tryin to pimp me so I pimped them. Cast da first stone,” the tweet read.

College football players. I am SICK TO DEATH of their (and their enabling apologists’) WHINING.

I COULDN’T go to school. Couldn’t afford it. And no hope of any financial assistance. So to have it HANDED to you because you can PLAY A GAME WELL and then you PISS on it ANYWAY?!?!?!

And yes, the school “makes money” off your (sometimes marginal) talents, but that helps other kids GO to school, besides the fact that the football team lives like Persian pashas YEAR ‘ROUND, even on the smallest campuses: special dorms, TUTORS (because 95% of the time YOU’RE MORONS who would have never been ADMITTED in the FIRST PLACE), special health facilities, TUTORS, world class gyms, TUTORS, EASY class schedules, on and on and on. College on a plate and, if you were “smart” enough”, you might stay and come out with a degree for life after your knees quit.

All FREE.

But people want to PAY you on TOP of that.

O.M.G., NO.

When the average kid is selling his SOUL for a degree that won’t get him a job at McDonald’s thanks to this President, we’re supposed to FEEL for these IGNORANT, “DISENFRANCHISED”, “ABUSED BY THE SYSTEM”, ENTITLED NEANDERTHALS?

That eloquent lad I quoted could get a National Championship stripped from his team for cavalierly having his hand out for more.

But so wat, right?

Its not the football players it is the administrators, presidents, and boosters who bow before the almighty dollar who allow this. When the coach is the highest paid person in the the school you can see the problem. Those that preach we should pay these “students” because they are hurting, a dubious claim at best, are ignorant to the fact that if you give a wad of cash to an 18-21 year old they will most likely blow it pretty quickly. It would be pouring money down a drain.

I’m a college prof, and I’m getting really close to saying, “Shut down all the damn universities and colleges for fifteen years, then do a reboot.” Sure, I’ll live out my working days working three part-time jobs, but I’m so effing sick and tired of how some schools are making education a huge joke.

When I was at Notre Dame, the football players were not too bad, but they did get special meals and all the athletes got special access to the gym.

After I left, Lou Holtz took over from that idiot Faust and he noticed football players running all over campus in golf carts. That had been only for injured players but apparently it got out of hand. Holtz put a quick stop to it.

In fact, Holtz’s first words to the team when first meeting them was, “sit up straight in your chairs.”

Entitlement has poisoned America. NO ON is “entitled” to ANYTHING. At best, we all (should) have an equal opportunity to succeed.

Or to fail. Like that moronic football tweeter.

    What Major Dad said.

FWIW, when I was majoring in economics at UGA back in the year dot, one of my classmates was a football player who was a math wiz. And a nice guy, too.
