Termination letters went to physicians caring for Medicare patients.
Those letters were sent out to doctors caring for ‘Medicare Advantage’ patients.

Oopsies!
I’ll bet you money those docs were felt to be “too expensive.” My group isn’t getting into any of the healthcare exchange plans except one PPO plan at the “bronze” level. I have had several patients who have lost their insurance and who have been quite disappointed to find out that they won’t have access to our group again.
Somehow I think the word “Advantage” in this case just doesn’t quite ring true.
Speaking of Connecticut, since you guys live in New England, was Sandy Hook a hoax?
