Somewhere Jenny McCarthy wept…

  1. Julie says:

Did “666” appear on your forehead afterwards?

  2. Mr. Bingley says:

I don’t have a mirror so I couldn’t check but I will say that being able to rotate my head 360 degrees now comes in awfully handy.

  3. ricki says:

I hate needles but, you know, being able to think it ticks off Jenny McCarthy, makes getting my necessary boosters not seem so bad.

  4. Syd B. says:

I’ve seen some of Jenny McCarthy’s early movies and if I recall, she could also turn her head 360 degrees.

  5. leelu says:

Maybe the resurgence of polio will get her attention. Pre-Salk vaccine, I remember my mom and baby-sitter being somewhat paranoid (justifiably) about us kids contracting it. Me, too, as I’d seen the effects it had on one of my cousins.

  6. Booga booga. Now you’ve probably got the autism.

The big push these days is to require healthcare workers have flu shots every year in order to protect the vulnerable patients they get close to. Here is an interesting website that features a nurse who quotes the Nuremberg Code for ethical behavior during human medical experiments as a reason to refuse a flu shot.

Jenny McCarthy is weak sauce compared to Becky The Nurse.

  7. tree hugging sister says:

He ARRIVED with a 666 tattoo.

  8. leelu says:

Cripes Suzette: A nurse? Srsly?? Was she not required to study and understand infectious diseases and their cause and prevention? Only way I’d want her near me is if she were in a bubble suit.

    Hermetically sealed.

  9. Mr. Bingley says:

    Becky is a Pathogenic Princess!

  10. Kathy Kinsley says:

I’m with leelu. That nurse is sub-par, at best and should be relegated to emptying bedpans.

  11. Julie says:

    (guffawing at THS’s comment)

  12. ricki says:

They should have just furloughed Becky (without pay, and with no back pay) for the entirety of flu season. For the safety of any patient she might come into contact with.

I will say I’ve met people who surprised me by their anti-vax stance; some people who otherwise seem to have a good grasp of science and reality become rather conspiracy-minded when vaccines come up.
