Thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.

The “Greatest Generation” is still hang gliding in there…

French Reporter: Did it remind you? Of when you jumped 70 years ago?

PeeWee: No, no. ‘Cause there wasn’t anybody shootin’ at me.

…and teaching us all about courage, humility and grace.

  1. Syd B. says:

Not only have the last few generations “forgotten” the cost of freedom, they have been indoctrinated to give it up without a whimper. As for defeating fascism – well look at the governments we have now that speaks of limiting rights to speech, property and civil liberty and allowing corporations, media and police to become part of the power structure.

The vets gave their lives for freedom but they passed the torch to a generation that handed it to big brother. The torch of liberty which lighted the way up those Normandy beaches grows dim today.
