   That’s precisely why the left wants to be the spokesman for the “downtrodden”. They don’t have the stomach to actually sit down and listen to the people the presume to champion. They only care about their selfish, narcissistic, self indulgent white knighting fantasies starring themselves as the shining heroes of humanity.

   Those fantasies also allow them to put themselves on a pedestal above those they pretend to champion.
