Obama and the Crotch Bomber

All I keep hearing in my head is “Send in the Clowns”.
Surely, they’re here.

I miss George.

B-b-b-b-b-b-but Big Janet™ said the bureaucracy was successful because, er, um, the bomb didn’t go boom!

  2. tree hugging sister says:

My only comfort in this particular case is that, whence young Jihadi finally meets his 72 virgins, hopefully all he’ll be able to raise is his arm.

  3. JeffS says:

Napolitano ought to take her “The system was successful” shtick on the road as a comedy show. At least there, the phrase “It’ll knock ’em dead” won’t be taken literally.

  4. Mr. Bingley says:

Actually, Janet and DHS are so sophisticated nuanced that they only allow non-functioning bombs on board.

  5. Halfwise says:

Maybe what a fella could do is always fly with his own bomb. ‘Cause the odds of there being TWO bombers on a plane have gotta be really low…

At least that is how the math works with global warming. “Our models can’t explain global temperatures without invoking CO2-forcing. So therefore CO2 causes global warming.”

Ya just gotta pick some bad logic, dress it up with statistics and run hard with it.

  6. Yojimbo says:

Not to worry, this same crew is thinking about sending John Kerry to Iran. Help is on the way.

  7. Dave E. says:

Now, now, now, THS. They tried, and that’s what really matters on the left, not results. You better get used to that, since we’re going to have three more years of that crap.

  8. don says:

i find it hard to believe that you miss George Bush. is Obama really all that bad? seriously.

  9. Robin from Central AZ says:

J-No (as we know her in Arizona) has a habit of sticking her sensible shoes in her mouth on a regular basis. I do know if you are aware, but besides being Gov. she used to be the federal attorney for Arizona (appointed by Clinton). Before that, she was involved in the shameless Anita Hill affair.

J-No’s going to leave DHS in the same shambles as she has left our poor state. I hope she gets booted and takes her skunk tail hairdo with her.

  10. JeffS says:

    Yes. Seriously.

  11. is Obama really all that bad?

    Really? Seriously?

  12. Let me add “especially when it comes to bad guys?”

  13. major dad says:

I really cannot understand why we have had skelitor the judge as the head of DHS and now this clueless J-No (thanks Robin). Does anyone else think this job screams for a professional security guy or a retired General or Admiral?

  14. Greg Newsom says:

This failed terrorist’s father warned the American embassy about his son.If this guy had owed five or more parking tickets, they would booted and towed his car.If he owed child support,he’d be
    thrown in jail.
The feds are one step above Keystone cops..

  15. Mr. Bingley says:

don, we’ve had just about a full year of Obama, so i think there should be a sufficient ‘body of work’ shall we say by which to make some judgments.

And i think unfortunately my fears about his lack of leadership experience are sadly coming true: the stimulus plan was an unmitigated disaster, the vacillation on iran, the missile defense shuffle, the scurrying back and forth to copenhagen for olympic bids and nobel prizes, the ‘reset’ button with russia, the insulting gifts to our closest ally, the months to decide to vote ‘present’ on afghanistan, playing golf more in his first year than bush did in his eight years,a cash-for-clunkers program which benefited japanese carmakers (and cost taxpayers some $24,000 minimum per car) and many others. it’s just been a mish-mash mess, with no indication that there’s a firm hand on the tiller or even a firm plan. and now this push for a health care behemoth that will radically change a large part of our economy…and the bill hasn’t been written yet, let alone read by our esteemed leaders in DC, but “the time for debate is over” we’re told.

  16. Yojimbo says:

Not to mention the ongoing takeover of the domestic energy area, the looming nuclear reduction treaty with Russia and the attack on the legislative process.
