Good guesses, Jeff! Both of the above and hopefully, one or the other is available. Seems there might be a dearth of billets right now, plus the fact that he and his competitive classmate also happen to be the only two first term Air Force active duty members left in the class! Everybody else rocked out ~ all that’s left are Air Nat’l Guard, Marines and prior service types, none of which qualify for the duty sta. perk. (Ebola had them beat anyway.) It’s supposed to be second only to B-1 Avionics as the hardest initial MOS school in the service. I sure never saw a drop rate like that in anything I took.
So they may roll the two guys billet choices back into the bigger class behind them, giving them the first pick. That would be a pretty decent thing to do, too.

Heh! Those are both quality assignments for the Air Force, Sis. Not hard to guess, given that I’ve met the young man. ;-p
