That's a cruel thing to do, Mr. Bingley, posting a picture of such a fine and tasty beverage. Here in Kuwait, we are limited to "near beer", which tastes like piss from a diabetic horse.

You'd better ENJOY that brewski, bub, or else I will take your web site off of my favorites list!!!

i did enjoy THEM heheheheh

kuwait? what are you doing there? i thought you were still in washington?!?!? i must have missed a post somewhere...

I haven't had a glass of bitter in two years. Damn you, Bingley! Damn you to hell!

Actually, the lager here is great and not at all akin to sugary equine urine. But I still miss Black Sheep Special and Fuggle de Dum.

i like lagers in the summer but i mainly prefer bitters, ales and stouts.
i like harfoots and stoors; never could much abide those fallohides...

Ahh, I'm about to start brewing my next batch of ale right after lunch. The next batch is going to be an Imperial Stout, but I want to try my hand at a good Scotch Ale myself.

Got the brat started on the MacEwan's last month, and we're not kidding it's the family brew. He showed the proper appreciation and will therefore be rewarded with more.

I'm working my way through a sixpack of Old Peculier...go figure.

Posted by: tree hugging sister at February 5, 2005 11:52 AM

funny, i thought you were married to Old Peculier...

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at February 5, 2005 11:54 AM

"married to Old Peculiar".

I'll take up a collection to buy you new kneecaps.

Posted by: Ken Summers at February 5, 2005 07:49 PM

yeah, i'm afraid of the consequences of that one.

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at February 5, 2005 08:05 PM

we'll see what's 'peculier' next time you venture down this way, you pencil-necked, pasty white, 'tini drinkin' Scotsman.

Posted by: MajorDad at February 5, 2005 08:26 PM

damn.

Posted by: Mr. Bingley at February 5, 2005 11:16 PM

Bingley, you drink 'tinis? That somehow seems so...appropriate.

Posted by: Ken Summers at February 6, 2005 12:07 AM

you are what you drink...

Heh, missed the THS post, Mr. Bingley! Took your e-mail to back track on this one!

I mobilized last November, and got posted to Kuwait. Washington State is but a dim memory right now. Green trees, grass, friendly natives......sob!

Them bitchin' cookies sound BITCHIN!!, THS! Sure will take my mind off the sand here. My section buddies won't complain either! Although duty in Kuwait is less of a burden than duty in Iraq. No complaints there!

Thanks!
