On This Day in 1843
...Jacob Marley dropped by for the evening.
Christmas hasn't been the same since.

Nice screenshot!
Just think, this story has been played by some of the finest lights of the stage and screen - and cartoons, and muppets, and even by only one person all at once. It's been read, recorded, filmed, staged, sang, and for all we know Morse coded. Good times.

This is one of the best versions! Though I do like the movie from 1951.

The Magoo Scrooge is one of the all-time greats. No better way to get the little ones (from 2 to 92!) to see Christmas for what it is supposed to be.

I vote Magoo, too! (And a warm, wintry Swill welcome, joated!)
