Monkey Business
...most FOUL...
A collaborator on the children’s book series Curious George has been found dead on the driveway of his mobile home in Florida.Police say Allen Shalleck’s body was covered in black garbage bags. Neighbors had passed by for a least a day, thinking it was just trash.

You know, I never read those books. From the little I'd overhear I always thought George was a mean little sh*t. (Just like I've never figured out why people think the "Cat in the Hat" is so cute.)

I remember reading them as a child and thinking, "Someone needs to beat that monkey's ass."

I remember them from when I was a kid - the pictures were always better than the storyline, and even as a kid I thought, "That's one damn retarded monkey."

I read "Curious George" as well. The books didn't impress me much -- all I remember is the stupid monkey and some incredibly patient idiot dressed like a banana.
But if Dubya is involved with this, he wouldn't use black garbage bags. He would use hurricane debris to hide the evidence.

You let the little guy read about a rampaging, deranged MONKEY?! Oh, the humanity!
You're supposed to be the one with the sense in the family.

"That's one damn retarded monkey."
Keith - possibly the inspiration for the production company behind Seth Green's stop-animated sketch show, "Robot Chicken." The company is called "Stoopid Monkey," and each show closes with someone in the background muttering, "Stupid monkey," while on-screen is a drawing of the monkey running with scissors (or dropping a toaster into a bathtub, or about to bite his own tail, etc).
