ABC News Sure Knows How to Motivate the Base
Yup.
UPDATE: Wow. This shot as of 7:50 a.m.CST. They've dropped the "look at all sides" line.
EDITOR'S NOTE: A warm Swill Welcome to Gateway Pundit and Hot Air readers. Thanks for stopping by. A note concerning our post:
I’d like to add that I linked to the Air America Op-Ed piece when I first found this at about 4:45 a.m.CST. From the verbiage, you weren’t quite as surprised when you wound up on an Op-Ed, because it DOES say “all sides blahblahblah look”.
But by the second screenshot (three hours later), THAT LINE IS GONE, as well as the question changed ~ from "MAYBE He Was Right?" to "Could He Have Been Right?". That first sentence had also been rephrased and made an interrogative.
My jaded eyes tell me ABC is shilling for Air America (you'll notice the "Townhall" link is labeled "OPINION") ~ using the Op-Ed subterfuge for a "news" headline they intend to be read EXACTLY as it does.

And what does "All look at both sides of the issue" mean?
Perhaps Kerry meant to say "Study hard in school or you'll wind up stuck as a copy editor at ABC News."

I think they heard you, Bingster.

first the lie, then they say "what if?".
progressives are never honest ever.

Or, perhaps Kerry meant to say "Study hard in school or the only way you'll be rich is if you marry an heiress."

And speak her language! You betcha, PT.

You ain't reading this wrong, kids. The Barking Spider e-mailed me a copy of this Jake Tapper-led editori... er, "news" "report," also from ABC's site. It is truly a frolic through the catnip.
My favorite line in it is this quote on page two, straight from the Horse's Patootie's mouth: "It disgusts me that a bunch of these Republican hacks who have never worn the uniform of our country are willing to lie about those who did," Kerry added.
Personally, I think it's more disgusting that the hack who DID wear the uniform exploited it to undermine his country at home and abroad, activities he only accelerated after becoming a senator and taking an oath that he would "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same..." (5 U.S.C. 3331 - source here.)
He's slipping in his own offal and telling us that our noses are to blame for the smell. It actually fits in with the very first post I ever wrote, 9/30/04: "...appealing to those whom he naturally disdains (AKA us) is difficult for him. (It's turned him orange this past week.) And there's many more of us than there are of intellectual elites and Mass Media Members. No doubt, people will clap for Kerry...but they'll vote for W."

I thought your "Yup" link was intended to go to the page you imaged, but it is to an opinion piece by Jackie Guerra of Air America? Did ABC buy AAR?

Sorry, I missed the Editor's note in the comment, above.

Welcome, Dusty! And that was precisely my impression at zero dark thirty this morning.

Just as a point of reference, one of the "reporters" writing for ABC NEWS.com on this story, http://www.abcnews.go.com/Nightline/story?id=2623018&page=1, Jake Tapper, is the former Press Secretary for the infamous, 3M, Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, the deciding vote on Clinton's '93 tax increase.
No doubt, he had a hand in the other items posted.

A literal jokester, a huckster turned political officianado? A "former stand-up comic" from Air America, Jackie Guerra gives you his serious opinion about whether Kerry or Demoncrats support our troops?
My gosh, get real. We are in a war and the best ABC or the Dems can do is give us Court Jestors on Parade? So we have Jon "Stew-Bob" Stewart, Bill "I hate Christians" Maher, and now Jackie "Former Comic" Guerra dishing out opinions on matters of life and death to this country? Is this the best Democrats can arrange in response?
Irresponsible wannabe actors, illogical comedians, and illiterate dunces of war history and international politics now lead the left off the deep end of redundant rhetoric, reliving the 60s as if never learning true lessons in life. That "Turning-On" and "Tuning Out" leaves little Johnny nothing but a middle-aged, burnt out, tie dyed shirt salesman. Cool man, look at the preeetty coloursss Dude.
The closest they all come to reality is by watching a "reality" show on TV. The Two Towers to them never really happened, it was a 30 minute sitcom of to much seriousness and not enough laughter. Que laughing machine, light joint and forget there's a real world, with real enemies.
Their fear is unmasked the louder they whine and complain about real people doing real dirty work for them. They feign false worry and glorify any contempt of our soldiers. Code Pink is thy banner and Red Commie, thy mantle upon which ye stand.
They'll fight for the right to piss on Christ in some artful abstract theatre show, but they will not fight to defend 12 million Iraqis who want to join the free world, Iraqis who fight and die beside our heroes in battle for a new nation. And they forget this all volunteer force signed up after 9/11 knowing they would go into harms way.
They are neither blind nor dumb, for they lust after every thing but honor and speak of all things but virture. They will not hear of patriots and responsibility to country, only lend their ears to anarchy, ACLU, pass the condom please.
This is the new left, same as the old left, the Democrats without any real cause because this time to speak against our President, against our nation, is to speak directly against those who volunteer to fight for this nation! And indeed fight for a just cause, liberty for the oppressed and justice to Tyrants!

Most Democrats in Congress and in power circles spend more times criticizing Bush than to do anything to help work with Bush on the war on terror.
Kerry's latest insult, as a Democrat, is a typical example of what is really wrong with the Democratic Party - besieged by stupid, childish politics, radical leftism and overzealous global-utopian fantasies that have no basis in geopolitical reality. Only Bush is standing in their ways to a Paradise that Pol Pot or Stalin tried and failed before.
