Yikes! Luckily, we didn't get icy conditions nearly as bad here in Waukegan.

OMG, flashbacks to growing up in Lake Mohawk ~ with a picture window that faced the steepest part of the incline in our narrow 'trail'. On those snowy, 1960's kinda winter days ~ before one had VHS, Playstation or even CABLE to distract one ~ entertainment meant pulling a chair up to the plate glass to watch weary travelers attempt to crest the hill on their way home from work. We'd solemnly intone, "Not enough speed" as a car would go fishtailing upwards out of sight. And nod sagely as the same car would come back into view trunk first, sliding it's way down to the bottom. Mildly amusing with one car, entertaining as HELL with four or five.
We'd tether Bingley to the stonewall out front, but he's a slippery little devil. They never tagged him.

Portland gets snow (let alone ICE) only every few years. Add in the lousy drivers there (IMHO, anywho), and that video is unavoidable.
Fortunately, I don't have to go there this week.

Speaking of Global Warmmongering, the Faithful have developed a new argument.

My girlfriend is from Beaverton. She confirms that snow and ice are extremely rare in that area and that the drivers are thoroughly lousy.
