House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said twice Sunday that Iraq “is a failure,” adding that President Bush’s troop surge has “not produced the desired effect.”...Anchor Wolf Blitzer asked: “Are you not worried, though, that all the gains that have been achieved over the past year might be lost?”
“There haven't been gains, Wolf,” the speaker replied. “The gains have not produced the desired effect, which is the reconciliation of Iraq.
This is a failure. This is a failure....

I still can't believe that the entire democrat party has succumbed to the marxism of san francisco and elevated her to her current position. And the same people will mock Bush for sounding like an idiot.

This is pure chutzpah on the part of San Fran Nan, Given how she (and Reid) have totally surrendered on forcing a withdrawal from Iraq.
But then, irony is not something that the Dhimmicrats worry about much.

Huh?
Fewer Iraqi civilians are getting blowed up by lunatics. Fewer Coalition soldiers are getting killed by IEDs. People on the ground in Iraq are beginning to express hope.
Yes, it is not perfect, but that is far from failure in my book.
I'd like to see her go over there and try to do better than what the surge is doing. (She'd probably last a day or two before she hopped the next plane home)
