I’ve missed the hilarity too. Please splain for us humor challenged.

All I could think when I saw that tongue twister of a name was “Holy CRAP!”. No wonder, since it most likely took the entire game to spit it out.
I think in the Coaching Rulebook there’s a part that states “if you can’t pronounce the player’s name he ain’t going in”.
Heh.
It’s not all that bad, actually: zai-DRU-nahs ill-GOWS-cus. And he’s been a decent supporting player for a good while: at his peak, a solid defender, good for 16 points and 8 rebounds a game; a very good free-throw shooter for a big man, although a terrible passer. Now that they have the Psychadelic Shaq in the middle, they don’t use him as much.
