How Come Jed Clampett…

…got “Texas Tea” oozing out of his ground and all I get is

Jersey Water?

It just ain’t fair.

As an aside, man does this camera add a lot of digital “noise” to the photos when I reduce them to 500 pixels width. See all those white dots? That’s what I’m talking about. It kind of stinks, so if you see a Nikon Coolpix S220 for a cheap price…well, there’s a reason. I’m stuck with mine, but if I were you I wouldn’t buy one.

It may be your software. There are usually three or four different settings in your software you can choose from when you resize, Mr B. One of those setting will digitize every time. Try each one to see which does what you want. In Corel’s Paint Shop Pro, I use “Smart Size”.

I’ll try and piddle around, Rob; I hope you’re right. But unfortunately a few of the reviews of this camera (which I read after buying it, naturally) all mention this ‘noise’ issue. 🙁
