Police in a Galveston County, Texas, school district have been confiscating dozens of cell phones from students after nude pictures of two junior high girls began circulating, the district superintendent said.
“Those students forwarded the images and the circle opened up and got wider and wider,” Superintendent Jon Whittemore said Tuesday.
He said that it all started when two Santa Fe Junior High School students took nude photos of themselves and sent them to their boyfriends. The boyfriends forwarded the photos to others, who in turn forwarded them again, he said.

Watching niave people is so painful. These girls are learning the hard way that the world is an unfriendly place, and that trust must be carefully placed.

Maybe they should have asked this woman for advice on what to send.
JeffS – the parents of both girls and boys ought to be kicked. Where on earth could these girls have gotten so desperate for acceptance that they hit on this? It’s awfully early to resort to exploiting their sexuality, as compared to merely being coy and flirtatious. This isn’t something that arises in a vacuum.

‘fly, that is so true, but the fact is, those kids are the ones who need to learn. The parents have clearly failed. It wouldn’t be learning for the parents, it would be retribution. Not that I disagree with retribution, mind you. But I’m more concerned about the kids.
As to how the girls learned this…..check the viewing selections on TV, or read a typical teen magazine. They’re not desperate….they’re following “high fashion”, a la’ Britney, Lindsay, etc.
