Murkowski Concedes

I have to say I’m happy with this

Incumbent Lisa Murkowski has conceded to challenger Joe Miller in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate.

Speaking to reporters at her campaign headquarters in Anchorage, Murkowski said “based on where we are right now, I don’t see a scenario where the primary will turn out in my favor.”

We need to shake DC up.

Bingley in ’12!

Bingley if you run, I’m gonna have to move to NJ to vote for you!!! Either that or pull a “Chicago” declare myself dead and then vote for you anyway. LOL.

I hope the anti-establishment republicans don’t let the fire die out in 2011. There’s a long way to go to resurrect the ideology espoused by Reagan. He didn’t go far enough in my book, but he’s still the only good president in my lifetime. I miss him.

I guess being told “No” by the Libertarian party snapped her back to reality.

    Good.

  5. I was very glad to see this for two reasons: first, the Tea Party was further legitimized as a strong movement, and second, Jon Cornyn got slapped back down. He has NO business in AK politics, and should be reminded he is NOT safe come 2012.

It’s good to see that reality CAN reach her, ‘slinger…. instead of pulling a Grim Specter or a Jim Jeffords, or worse, tying the whole bloody thing up in the courts. Nobody wanted another Franken-esque “wait until March to see who won” farce.

    Shake it up?

We need to put a CAT to a good deal of it!

The knockout punch won’t come until a goodly chunk of these people get elected. It’s not good enough to just dump establishment Repubs if they lose to Dems in the general election. In a real, and perverted sense, this may give them more power since they can then come back and say that it takes a professional Republican to beat a professional Democrat.
