I’ve never watched the icky, gap-toothed pervert, but feel compelled to chastise the network. And the sponsors. I’ve added links for the post. (And the cheeseballs have a damn AOL email address! What up wit dat?)
Subject: David Letterman is a disgrace, as his advertisers will also learn
There’s comedy and there’s comedy, and his attempt at humor qualified as neither.
His attempt at a pseudo apology is pathetic and indicative of a complete lack of individual character.
Would CBS have been so accommodating if, instead of Willow Palin, the target had been, say, young Malia Obama?
But, then, it never would have been.
Because these stupid pseudo-intellectual f*ckers have been picking on Willow all along.
Picking on little girls when you don’t agree with their mum is okay. It’s clever and funny, doncha know?

For my money, Letterman needs to retire. He can always join one of Cindy Sheehan’s protests if he gets bored.
David Letterman has gone to a new low; His so called jokes about Governor Palin and her daughter, was Wrong,Cheap, and out right Dirty and Vulgar! If CBS has any moral values, and any concern about his jokes, they should be censured, and CBS neds to Give A Formal Apology to Governor Palin and her family, The CBS network would be wise and polite to say that they are Sorry for Mr. Letterman comments; In would be wise for the FCC to check out Mr. Lettermans remarks, and fine both CBS and Letterman ! Now CBS get Rid of this Vulgar Sicko/So Called Night Host
If Letterman decided to make jokes about Al Gore’s troubled son, would his fans find that hi-larious also? I thought Rush Limbaugh’s jokes about Chelsea Clinton were way out of line too. The children of politicians shouldn’t be torn to shreds because of their parents’ involvement in public life. It’s just tacky and unacceptable.

I am so completely disgusted on the hypocrisy of David Letterman. The chicken doesn’t even have an e mail address to contact him in response to his show. To have the audacity to make that horrible comment about someone being knocked up and think it appropriate but to not look in his own closet and say you know what I knocked up my sons mother and I don’t want his friends or the whole television audience to make fun and jokes about him. His mother is the sweetest loveable woman and he has disgraced her terribly and he owes Sara Pallin, her daughter and any other child who he thinks is fair game. Is his now wife because he decided to make it legal. Another do as I say not as I do. Dave has truly sunk to the gutter and I will never watch that slime again. And where is womans rights. In the back pocket of the left.
David Letterman is just an ugly human being, in every sense of the word. Time for him to get out of the public eye. He’s losing audience daily. Lost me years ago. He was a lot better when he was smashing watermelons.
