NJ’s Stupid Stupid Gun Laws
Via Maggie’s Farm here’s a very sad story about the stupid gun laws here in NJ
Sue Aitken called the police because she was worried about her son, Brian. She now lives with the guilt of knowing that her phone call is the reason Brian spent his 27th birthday in a New Jersey prison last month. If the state gets its way, he will be there for the next seven years.
Read the whole thing. I hope Gov. Christie will act on this case.

Nope, couldn’t live in a state like that. What is it with those East coast states and guns?
It’s preposterous. I cannot begin to fathom how such a restrictive law is not a wholesale violation of the Second Amendment.
This would be no big deal in FL. Heck, half my church owns guns.
I hope the Appellate Division corrects the miscarriage of justice visited upon Aitken and the mess this decision will cause for other responsible gun owners in New Jersey. The gun laws in this state are already horrible and this decision will make things worse.
Sounds like the People of New Jersey need to act on this case…
