    Gag.

  2. Gunslinger says:

A deep bow like that is a sign of subservience to a greater power in Asian countries.

    Stupid, stupid bastard.

He’s attempting to show the American people what we should do. Bend over and take it.

Equals, when greeting each other in Japan, should either shake hands or, bow slightly to each other. Never both and never should you bow if the other doesn’t. His protocol advisers need to do their homework. When I met my Japanese counterpart a few years ago, we bowed slightly to each other, then exchanged business cards, then shook hands. You take the time to read and admire each others card and you don’t put it into your pocket, you hold it until it’s appropriate to either place it on your desk or on a conference table, where you leave it until you part company.

Y’know, if Obama is going to kiss the world’s ass, he needs to get down on his knees and do it right. None of this halfway crap.

  6. Mr. Bingley says:

A US President has NEVER done that crap.

    What a disgrace.

  7. nightfly says:

For pity’s sake, would you STOP BOWING Mr. President. STOP.

His Pacificness is demonstrating something here. I just don’t know what…

I was going to comment on this, but I ended up doing too much research on whether article 88 of the UCMJ (Contempt towards officials) applies to reservists that I was able to relax and think of something more pleasant than what I would really like to say about what happens when a communist is elected to high office.

Thank you Gregor. I have certainly never seen Japanese people bowing and shaking hands with each other at the same time. That photo is unfortunately embarrassing and I wonder who took it/published it and how many more of like kind there will be.

He bows like a little boy who was told by his mommy to bend down reeeaaal low.

    My god. We’re so doomed.
