CHARLESTON, S.C. – Nine firefighters perished in a blaze that swept through a furniture warehouse, Charleston Mayor Joseph P. Riley said Tuesday morning.
The mayor called the dead firefighters “brave, heroic and courageous,” as he said that they were in the building when the roof collapsed.

Just horrible.
