    I have the greatest admiration for John Howard, but he was in power for a long time. When it’s been 10 years or so, it’s time to go. I suspect that when his successor (Rudd) grabs the reigns of power and realizes the way the world actually works, he will moderate his stance somewhat. He’s already backing off initial claims that he would withdraw Australian soldiers from Iraq and sign Kyoto.
