At first glance Shawbo Ali Rauf appears to be slumbering on the grass, her pale brown curls framing her face, her summer skirt spread about her. But the awkward position of her limbs and the splattered blood reveal the true horror of the scene.

Where’s the Vanity Fair exposé on the threats Islamic women in the “civilized” world (Britain, Denmark…?) face, less mind the bestial practices in everyday life for those behind the sharia curtain?
Where’s the ribbon for those women?

And these United States colluded to deprive the women of Iraq of the FREEDOM they promised ALL its people.

   Agreed. George and Condi forgot that FDR’s slogan of fighting for democracy is a lie. We are not a democracy. We are a constitutional republic that puts individual rights above the state’s rights.
   To allow a barbaric nation with a barbaric religion to establish such barbaric laws under our cognizance is shameful, and criminal.
