   If wishes were horses, beggars would ride…

   But I wish we had gone from Afghanistan directly THROUGH Iran, killing Ayatollahs, and Imams and Kho/Khamenis on the way through.

   There was, at that time, an pro -American youth contingent who could probably have taken over. Likely they are all dead now.
