Wow: When You’ve Lost CNN

The headline on the main page:

Can Administration Keep A Secret?

And the article itself

Loose lips and the Obama national security ship

By Adam Levine, with reporting from Pam Benson and Ann Colwell

The level of detail spilling out through media reports about crucial national security operations is raising the question of whether President Barack Obama’s administration can keep a secret – or in some cases even wants to.

In just the past week, two tell-all articles about Obama’s leadership as commander-in-chief have been published, dripping with insider details about his sleeves-rolled-up involvement in choosing terrorist targets for drone strikes and revelations about his amped-up cyber war on Iran.

Each article notes the reporters spoke to “current and former” American officials and presidential advisers, as well as sources from other countries.

“This is unbelievable … absolutely stunning,” a former senior intelligence official said about the level of detail contained in the cyberattack story.

I guess CNN is figuring if Bill Clinton can start to turn on Obama then it’s okay for them to as well.

To me this is pretty stunning.

We’ll see. As one James Bond character put it, “Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, and three times is enemy action.”

Perhaps CNN and other compliant lefty partners are now comprehending the dangers of putting a man in the White House with no executive, military, diplomatic, or private-sector experience. It should shock no one to find that American leadership has utterly vanished on the international stage when we elect someone incapable of providing that leadership. The lesson from both the Right and Left coasts’ media is that Barack Obama is in way over his head and doesn’t have a clue how to get back to the surface. As for the international stage, he has less vision than Mr. Magoo.

All of what you say about Obama is true Syd, but I expect CNN will find their way back to covering for Obama and his consiglieri as soon as Romney really begins to threaten the Big O’s reelection. Priorities, dontcherknow.
