You summed it up best. I would wager a years pay that if we did not do this project and that ladies yard flooded or there was water standing in the road in front of her business, that she would be screaming holy hell.
Yeah, going back with oaks. BTW, the trees that are there now were planted in the early 1920’s. They will not live forever. So some stratigic replantings will actually help in the long run.
The avenues are quite nice. And, honestly, the impact of the trimming and cutting has been very minimal to the overall impact.
THS, the reason I asked if you’d watched the whole thing was because at the end they say they’re re-planting oaks.
