   Forget jury duty. Did you happen to see this out of Ace of Spades?

   I mean… I HATE to be That Guy who plays the “Imagine if X did Y!” game. It’s tiresome. BUT – can you imagine if W reacted to Katrina the way the current Admin has repeatedly and willfully clod-hopped it in the Gulf?

   Water quality standard enforcement in this country is appallingly stupid, mostly because they are written and enforced by the appallingly stupid.

   From professional experience, I can safely say that these standards are a text book example of the old saw, “Best is the enemy of good.”
