Paul Krugman: ‘It’s Terribly Unfair Obama’s Being Judged on the Failure of the Economy’

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman said on ABC’s This Week Sunday, “It’s terribly unfair that [President Obama is] being judged on the failure of the economy to respond to policies that had been largely dictated by a hostile Congress” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Begs the question W.H.A.T. in the Sam Hell we are allowed/is-fair to “judge” this President on, since everything in the past three and a half years seems to be off limits, unfair, racist, not-the-point or just not his damn fault to begin with.

All we need is a manic, crying transvestite with running eye make-up shrieking, “Leave Barack ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNEEEE!!!!!!!”

Krugman has given Obama one tongue bath too many.

I mean, his judgment has always (at best) goofy, but now Krugman has Gone. Around. The. Bend. In his adoration of Obama.

  2. Gunslinger says:

Krugman is another recipient of an undeserved Nobel prize. Him and King Zero probably feel some sort of kinship for one another.

  3. Mr. Bingley says:

    “A hostile Congress”

Like he had in 2009 and 2010 when Democrats controlled both Houses?

  4. Gary from Jersey says:

Krugman should be the poster boy for the war on drugs’ failures. Only a paranoid fantasizer could come up with something that blatantly stupid.

  5. Syd B. says:

Krugman is an fascinating study. Obviously a rather intelligent man, but no so intelligent that his mind isn’t tricked by his uncontrollable bias. The truth is that he would overlook or in fact, not see Obama’s faults, but if he ever caught a Republican drinking milk straight from the carton, he would be yelling from the roof tops for a linching.

  6. major dad says:

Krugman is a douche bag of the highest order. All he can do is spew out acidic comments about people who don’t bow at his alter of economic theory or socialist politics. He’d poo his pants if you said “boo” to him.

The Czar has observed Teh Kroog saying much the same thing in print today. Only get this – it’s not Bush’s fault, it’s ROMNEY’S. He doesn’t say the name, but he essentially says that our economy is tanking because of lower taxes and spending cuts; even if the opposite is actually happening now.

Really. Teh Kroog KNOWS that those things tank economies and our economy is clearly tanked right now, therefore those things MUST have happened! Nobel Prize, bitches!

Every time I hear someone in the administration talking about “fair” I think of the woman I knew who used to tell her kids, “Fair is a place you go to see pigs and pies” when one of them complained something was “unfair.”

I think the current administration has debased the word to the point that it means nothing any more.

Gunslinger, keep in mind Krugman received a Nobel in Economics. Bam got one for . . . well, not being Bush is about the only explanation I’ve run across. The two may think they’re part of the same club but the Nobel in Economics is for more than just existing.
