   As the leaf pile’s been looking grim after a long winter, he’s got himself a rug AND a packing blanket covering the gardenia to get him through. He popped out on a warm morning a couple weeks ago, only to see it fall close to freezing that night and we had him wrapped up then, too.

   Had a helluva a Spring for a turtle.
