a record low temperature of 64 degrees was set at Mobile today.
This ties the old record of 64 set in 1923.

There wasn’t, by any chance, a portly ex-Vice President dipping his pudgy puddies in the Gulf sighted, was there?

    So far, the temperature hasn’t reached ninety degrees in July here. (Waukegan)

    My English isn’t as good as it used to be. The record was “set” in 1923, not 2009.

    Oh, and Gunslinger, it hasn’t reached 90º here that often, either. 97, 98, 99, no problem. 90º, not so much.
