KASICH DECLARES DALLAS MAVERICKS “HONORARY OHIOANS”
Congratulates NBA Champions for Win over the Miami Heat

COLUMBUS – Following Sunday’s 105-95 victory by the Dallas Mavericks over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, Gov. John R. Kasich issued a resolution honoring the champions on a successful season and declared members of the team and their fans to be “Honorary Ohioans.” Gov. Kasich praised the Mavericks for the loyalty, integrity and teamwork they demonstrated throughout the season. He also recognized NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki, who chose to keep his talents in Dallas by renewing his contract with the Mavericks in 2010 and forgoing free agency.

    Way to go Lebron, you’ve just made yourself the A-Rod of the NBA.

    Has to be something about Miami. A-Rod grew up there and Lebron moved there. Some kind of vortex of assholeitude or something.
