Sometimes the spam is pretty funny, an odd mix of sensible phrases and computer-generated gibberish. Today we got a “comment” from one “Ernest English” who wrote
Your blog is an excellent example of what the blog is meant to be as well as how a blog should be written. I really like your formal writing style. All the best.
Not to be outdone in the suck-up department is “Raleigh Wageman”

“More faster” has always been a goal of mine.
Finally, I offer these pearls of wisdom from our good friend “chanel handbags” who opines

More faster and more better. That’s the life goal of us bloggers, Mr B.
I got one recently that states:
“your site has a very nice style to it. I’m glad I found it on facebook. Well, I’ll come back later after I get back from the fish store”
It’s from a “discus fish”, which I always thought was an Olympic sport, not a person. I’m more faster and more better for knowing that now.

would that be something like a flounder?
