To forget is to let the terrorists win.
That is not acceptable.
Thank you for saying what I’ve thought for years. It makes my blood boil to hear the countless watered down titles some use for that awful day. It’s not a damn “day of service” or a day for an international “kumbaya” coming together. It is a day for painful reflection and the steeling of resolve to address the matter.
Like you folks, I post an annual message that, while less contemplative than your own tragic loss, attempts to open one’s eyes:
Remember it for what it was – a terrorist attack on our soil. 2996 of our citizens were incinerated or crushed to death. Mourn them for their suffering and loss.
