How Could This Be…

54.9 inches!

A new record: Snowiest winter in D.C. history

…when RFK Jr. said eskimos were building igloos in the back yard at lunch when he was little?

…Once, my father, Atty. Gen. Robert Kennedy, brought a delegation of visiting Eskimos home from the Justice Department for lunch at our house. They spent the afternoon building a great igloo in the deep snow in our backyard.

Is a puzzlement!

I call BS. He’s only about 8 years older than me, and I don’t remember such weather.

But climatologists and their pep rally fans only know how to lie.

  2. JeffS says:

Maybe the snowfall RFK, Jr remembers was much less, like, 30″. To a kid, that’s a whole lot of snow. And plenty to build an igloo with.

Yeah, I’ve done it. In the Cascades, as a kid.
