I Missed The Debate

I hear Joe was a laughing dufus and Paul was wonky, so it seems from the clips I’ve seen.

I think it’s obvious which I prefer one heart beat away.

   Biden’s sneering, rude and dishonest performance will galvanize the moron vote and maybe win him re-election. Ryan was simply godawful.

   I think Paco sums up the debate nicely:

   “… it looks like Paul Ryan came to debate the issues, and Mr. “One-Heartbeat-Away” showed up to hoot and throw feces (which is exactly what I figured Biden would do). ”

   So maybe Ryan wasn’t a stellar performer, but he acted like an adult, and came to do an adult’s job.

   So it’s a win for Ryan.

   And I think Biden’s antics just kept Obama’s base (think back to the DNC last August) from running away screaming.

   Ryan turned in a solid, serious performance. Biden came across as a pub bore with one too many in him. Raddatz looked more & more frazzled as the night went on.

   Some of the excuses so far:

   – Trust me, you’ll be happy when I’m done
   – It is what it is
   – It’ll fix itself
   – It’s an optical illusion.
   – I need more money to fix what I’ve screwed up.

   …and those were from the asshole who is putting in my new kitchen.
