Look, Charles Is A Tool

But, seriously, WTF was his “security detail” thinking by having him and Camilla anywhere near these “students”?

LONDON – Furious student protesters attacked a car carrying Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, vandalized buildings and battled riot police Thursday as a controversial hike in university fees triggered Britain’s worst political violence in years.

In a major security breach, demonstrators set upon the heir to the throne’s Rolls Royce as it drove through London’s busy West End on its way to a theater. A group of up to 20 struck it with fists, sticks and bottles, breaking a window and splattering the gleaming black vehicle with paint.

In the frenzy, some chanted “off with their heads!”

Of course, I can’t help but remember that Chinese students protested for Freedom and Democracy in Tiananmen Square, put their bodies in front of moving tanks and thousands of them were slaughtered.

British students rise up and courageously protest…a fee raise? And they manage to throw some paint on a couple of namby-pambys in a Rolls?

What pathetic turds.

Amen to THAT, brother. I love how the security head is trying to spin this now ~ they reacted “professionally”, hence no turds were harmed, otherwise known as “SHOT”, during the moving of the Royal Couple.

Really? I think someone needs a new job. And don’t think the next mob won’t have jihadis or lonely, out of work IRA types in it, just in case they get their free shot at someone while the cops are being “professional”.

Well, Charlie boy, this is what generations of socialism gets you. Maybe you should cough up a castle or two to keep the victims at bay a while longer. Worked great for Marie Antoinette, right?

How far are we from a “British” revolution? Aside from letting the Muslim population get away with almost anything I think the British govenment has so alienated and pissed off the rank and file things may get bad there in a hurry.

This is the New Britain, folks. Probably won’t last long, as per major dad, but there it is.

  5. Yojimbo says:

All the more reason to get that Berkeley Peace and Social Justice Commissioner over there pronto.

If that guy isn’t done backslapping traitors just roundup every student whisperer you can find. Works great for dogs, whales probably not so much, but certainly worth a try.

Probably more advisable, at this point, than the Yojimbo solution which is: LIVE ROUNDS!

A few dead anarchists would be a good thing and they could start with the ones defacing the War Memorials. Brits won’t do shit I’m afraid, they’ll just wring their hands. Muslims just biding their time.

Be kinda interesting to know if they knew that Ears was gonna be there, of if they were just cruising for anybody in a Bentley…

I’m wondering if any of the “security detail” is out of a job today. If they didn’t know about the riots – that’s just as bad as knowing and driving through it anyway. Either way, if I were Charles and Camilla, I’d be verrrry worried.

  9. Gunslinger says:

The definition of “security” must have been altered in the UK to mean “standing around like a cigar store indian”. I wonder if there is a stiff upper lip lest in the whole UK.

  10. JeffS says:

Teresa, given that Charles is an utterly useless and naive gob of a human being (let alone aristocrat), it’s possible that he deliberately drove through the riot.

How many idiots follow a fire engine to a fire? Or an ambulance to an accident? And just for cheap thrills.

Could be that Charles is so out of touch that he thought nothing of going down to the local riot. For giggles or to be one with the unwashed masses is immaterial.

To be fair to the security detail, for a moment there they thought they had mounted police support. Ahem.

    I’m sorry.

Contemporary protests in Western democracies always strike me as juvenile public temper tantrums. I have no sympathy whatsoever for “demonstrators” who damage private property and provoke violence for kicks, then scream about how they are being “oppressed.” The Civil Rights protesters didn’t do that, and they really WERE oppressed.
