Mark Steyn Watched the Same “Debate” We Did Last Night

Only he has a way of phrasing his distaste impression better.

Debate Night in the Titanic Ballroom

…I see Terence Jeffrey and Andy McCarthy are having a disagreement about the correct response to a question on gay adoption. The correct response is to take an unconstitutional federally-funded supersized condom, roll it over George Stephanopoulos’ head, and say, “That’s odd. I can no longer hear a word you’re saying. So let me throw in my two bits on impending multi-trillion-dollar ruin…”

Well, DANG! That’s EXACTLY what WE were thinking, only we wanted it big enough to stuff Diane Sawyer in, too.

She was so blitheringly stoned, she would never have noticed if she went in feet first or otherwise.

    Hahahahaha. Now that’s poetry!

  2. Skyler says:

This entire nomination process does not work. It gave us McCain last time and now likely Romney. Romney’s entire career consists of failing as a politician, except when he made Massachusetts even more socialist, and destroying jobs in the private world.

If the Supreme Court doesn’t come through on ObamaCare, then we are done as a nation.

  3. JeffS says:

The nomination process works if the people running don’t game it, Skyler. That’s our problem — the GOP is as bad as the DNC.

  4. As a conservative I could care less about homosexuals marrying and adopting kids.

Republicans are killing ourselves when we move into the social conservative issues like this. who cares?

We have so much work to do to undo the drunken sailor spending that has gone on for decades tackling gay marriage is about 2,432 on my list of things to do.

Republicans should dismiss these questions out of hand and move on.

  5. Mr. Bingley says:

    Exactly right, Gary.

Gay marriage didn’t cause our deficit.
