    And now McCain wants us to do the same thing to Syria. They shoot back as will the Iranians if we try such a stunt.

    Ann Coulter is spot on — none of this makes sense, other than as a “wag the dog” strategy.

    And John McCain should have retired when he lost to Obama. If not a few years earlier. Syria would be a very tough nut to crack; Assad is not the politician his father was, but he’s just as ruthless.
