And now McCain wants us to do the same thing to Syria. They shoot back as will the Iranians if we try such a stunt.
Ann Coulter is spot on — none of this makes sense, other than as a “wag the dog” strategy.
And John McCain should have retired when he lost to Obama. If not a few years earlier. Syria would be a very tough nut to crack; Assad is not the politician his father was, but he’s just as ruthless.
It would be nice if we actually took some time to build up our cruise missile stocks in case we need them to actually defend ourselves.
