Unfortunately, what I said in glib frustration didn’t really damage the culture I was targeting, it just damaged my allies, my friends and the causes I struggle for.

I’ve read his crap before. He’s a typical leftist nihilist who is too cowardly to commit suicide alone, so he supports any anti-American group around in the hopes that when he goes he has some company. He hates the West, but loves its comforts and takes advantage of its tolerance and freedom to attack it. He claims to support women’s rights and then turns around and helps the misogynist Taliban. If it was up to him, Saddam’s rape rooms would still be in business and hidden by Western media deals with the regime.
