…RANGEL: I’m very, very optimistic about what the leadership has said in the Senate. This isn’t a question of the House and Senate differing. This not even the question of Republicans and Democrats differing. This is all about a handful of people who got elected as Republicans that want to bring down our government. You can see it in the streets. You can see where they’re coming from.
And the same way they fought as confederates, they want to bring down the government and reform it.
And ALLLLLL the lo-info Democratic voter bovines are going “Uh-huh. That’s right. Them Confederates were Republicans and they always HATED blacks. Told you.”

I’m afraid there’s only one event that will cause the entitlement crowd to wake up and pay attention. Take their cell phones, food stamps and their seemingly unending unemployment benefits away. This may be accomplished by Federal Government bankruptcy, sooner than later.
On the other hand, Bush, Boener and the Republicans will be blamed for that, too, so, nevermind.
