Obama’s New Strategy To Shore Up Dems

It’s bold. It’s innovative. It shows his brilliance in his usual humble, self-effacing style

“If we turn out in strong numbers, then we will do fine. If we do not, if we are depressed and decide, well, you know, Barack’s not running right now, so I’m just going to stay home, then I’m going to have my hands full up here on Capitol Hill.”

Days before the release of a key jobs report, Obama said most of the job losses his administration gets blamed for occurred before “any of my economic plans were put into place,” and that the country is still “experiencing the hangover from the misguided policies” of the last decade.

Oh, and remember Kids: it’s the Rethuglicans Tea Baggulators who are injecting images of graphic violence into our politics and creating a climate of fear

“They are fired up. They are mobilized. They see an opportunity to take back the House, maybe take back the Senate,” he said. “If they’re successful in doing that, they’ve already said they’re going to go back to the same policies that were in place during the Bush administration. That means that we are going to have just hand-to-hand combat up here on Capitol Hill.”

Will no one rid me of this troublesome Fox News?

Boy, it’s a good thing the POTUS aint arrogant!

Looks like our Puffed Up Prince hasn’t learned a thing except to hide the joint when posing. You’d think he at least know by now his grovelers are all about image and not substance and would play to that.

  3. Like I said over at Soylent Green, the only “hand-to-hand combat” Obama has ever seen was when he went looking for his ass.

Yup, and the fear-mongering is coming to a rally in Philly on Sunday. The teachers’ union e-mail said it’s all about “moving the country forward”–must be a go forward/fear going back theme this year. (What they should really fear is rain on Election Day, ’cause that’s what sinks turnout in Philly!)
